FAQs

Who is AfriSEED Foundation?

AfriSEED Foundation is a Canada- and Nigeria-registered nonprofit organisation working to advance education, empowerment, and development for vulnerable and disadvantaged children and youth in underserved communities across Nigeria and Africa. SEED stands for Supporting Education, Empowerment and Development, and more than an acronym, it is a theology of hope. We exist to maximise every seed.

Where does AfriSEED Foundation operate?

We operate across Canada, Nigeria and Africa. Our programmes reach children and youth in underserved communities.

When was AfriSEED Foundation established?

AfriSEED Foundation was established in May, 2026.

What does AfriSEED Foundation actually do?

We equip vulnerable and disadvantaged children and youth with the financial support, mentorship, skills, and community they need to access education, realise their potential, and become agents of lasting change in their families, communities, and nations. We offer scholarships, tuition assistance, educational materials, mentorship programmes, vocational training, leadership development, welfare support, life skills development, and community-based learning initiatives.

Is AfriSEED Foundation a religious organisation?

AfriSEED Foundation is not a religious organisation. We serve children and youth regardless of their religious background. That said, our values and our commitment to interceding on behalf of the lives entrusted to us are shaped by a deep conviction that every child is placed in our path with intention, and that this work carries a weight and a calling beyond the organisation.

What makes AfriSEED Foundation different from other NGOs?

We do not simply provide services. We are stewards of seeds. That distinction shapes how we treat beneficiaries, how we measure success, how we manage resources, and how we show up. We are not just focused on meeting financial needs or bridging skill gaps, but walking alongside our beneficiaries long term to build a future worth reaching for. We operate with a sense of calling, not just a mandate.
